Privacy Policy

IKKF collects no data about you. There is no account, no telemetry, no analytics and no tracking. Your knowledge base, skills, agents and run history are stored on your own Mac and are never transmitted to us or anyone else. IKKF sends data over the network only to the AI model endpoint that you yourself configure.

What IKKF stores, and where

Everything IKKF creates is stored locally on your Mac:

Knowledge base — your atomic facts, each a Markdown file with a claim and a source, kept in a folder on your device.
Skills — reusable procedures distilled from completed runs, stored in the app's own library and, when you export them, written as SKILL.md files on disk.
Run history — your past tasks, reasoning traces, retrieved facts and confidence scores.
Preferences — appearance, theme, accent colour, units and provider settings.

None of this leaves your Mac unless you deliberately export or share it.

Network access

IKKF is useful offline for browsing your knowledge base, history, skills and settings. A reasoning run requires a model, and the app connects only to the endpoint you configure:

A local model — Ollama, LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible server running on your own machine or local network. Nothing leaves your device in this configuration.
A remote provider — if you choose to configure an external AI service, your prompts, retrieved facts and task text are sent to that provider under their own privacy policy. IKKF has no involvement in, or visibility of, how they handle that data.
OpenClaw — if you run a local OpenClaw gateway and configure IKKF to use it, requests go to that local gateway.

IKKF makes no other network requests. There is no update check, no licence server, no crash reporting and no usage beacon.

What IKKF does not do

It does not create or require an account.
It does not collect analytics, telemetry or diagnostics.
It does not track you across apps, websites or sessions.
It does not use advertising identifiers or any third-party analytics SDK.
It does not sell, share or transmit personal data. There is no personal data for it to transmit.
It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendars or photos.

Purchases

IKKF is sold as a one-off purchase through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the payment, and Apple's own privacy policy governs the payment and account information involved. We never receive or store your payment details, name, address or email address from a purchase. The app itself contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.

Children

IKKF is a general-purpose productivity tool. It is not directed at children, and because it collects no personal data there is no personal data about any user, of any age, for us to hold.

Data deletion

Because all data is stored locally, you are in full control of it. Deleting the app, or removing the folders it writes to, removes that data permanently. Nothing is retained anywhere else.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes.
